Fine flame mahogany dressing box by Mechi & Bazin.

A superb quality flame mahogany dressing box by Mechi & Bazin, London. The wonderful veneers banded in brass and highlighted with further brass stringing.

The top has a central engraved oval cartouche.

The box retains its original Moroccan leather interior with quality silver plated original fittings, all of which are in good order. We have re-lined the velvet sections with deep blue silk velvet to replace the original worn velvet of the same colour.

Mskers brass label to the rear of the box.

With working Bramah lock & tassled key.
