Fine French amboyna & tulipwood trinket box by Gradé Paris

A superb quality French amboyna trinket / jewellery box by Gradé Rue de las Paix 23, Paris. The central amboyna panels banded by fine brass lines sandwiching a band of kingwood, further banded in tulipwood and then the edges finished in brass.

The box has been re-lined in an off white and burgundy padded silk to match the original interior.

Superior quality throughout from a company that had to compete with the likjes of Tahan a few doors down.
